Zhytomyr butter plant has won the National Competition "Charitable Ukraine"

On March 29 the Fifth National Competition "Charitable Ukraine" award ceremony was held in the Kyiv City State Administration hall. And Zhytomyr butter plant appeared to be among the best benefactors of 2016. The "Rud" company won the first place in the major nomination category "Charity of Large Businesses" and as a sign of its victory the company was presented with the "Angel of Good" award – a unique ceramic figurine, which is commonly referred to as “Oscar in Charity".

The nationwide competition "Charitable Ukraine – 2016" is the anniversary one, as it took place  for the fifth time. The goal of the competition is to promote efficient social-oriented solution-focused initiatives by proactively providing public support to charity practices.

It is noteworthy that the anniversary competition got a record number of applications: 744 participants competed with one another in 22 nomination categories. Among them are the organizations, communities and citizens from all around the globe that provide charitable assistance to Ukraine.

We are pleased and happy to receive recognition not only for the quality of our products, but also for the efforts aimed at gaining the social welfare of the country. The "Rud" company’s mindset can not merely exist without a sense of responsibility toward the people of its country.
