Shrimps in kadaif dough
BackDESCRIPTION OF THE DISH
Marinated king shrimps wrapped in thin strands of kadaif dough, fried in butter or oil — this popular oriental dish is currently on the menus of Greek, Italian and Japanese restaurants. However, using a handy pre-made product from Rud, you can easily prepare it at home.
There is no specific recipe for marinating shrimps. The marinade should be bright and rich to make the dish spicy and colourful.
For frying, choose deep frying or oven — the finished dough is deliciously crispy, which hides the tender, juicy shrimp under this voluminous airy crust.
The dish tastes great with aioli or sweet chilli sauce. You can also add citrus mayonnaise or soy sauce with ginger.
Shrimps with kadaif dough
Best served on green lettuce leaves or with lemon slices.
