Such croissants, without filling, are to the liking of the French – the biggest connoisseurs of this confectionery. They are happy to eat it for breakfast, lunch and sometimes for dinner. No wonder the croissant is called the sweet symbol of France. It goes incredibly with butter, peanut paste or Nutella.
