DESCRIPTION OF THE DISH

Italians are considered to be pasta experts. It was them who made the mankind fall in love with the famous food made of wheat dough.

Super quick, nutritious and tasty dish has become the symbol of Italian cuisine. It is served with a variety of vegetables, sauces and cheese in almost every Italian restaurant.

Feel the cosiness of Italian restaurants by cooking some spicy pasta with asparagus and Rud TM mixed vegetables. With our frozen vegetables, the dish becomes mouth-watering, rich in vitamins and bright.

Choose pasta made of durum wheat, the only one recognised by Italians. Despite being cooked longer than usual (around 15 minutes), it holds its shape well and does not fall apart, even if it is a little overcooked. It is also much more delicious and has a better texture. The “proper” pasta is rich in useful carbohydrates, so it will be a great addition to a healthy diet and will not result in weight gain.

The most delicious pasta is the one cooked “al dente”, so we recommend removing it from the stove a few minutes before it is ready. Doubly so because before being served, it is stewed with the vegetable in a pan.

Easy Dinner

Ingredients

Durum wheat pasta 400 g
Asparagus 150 g
Mixed vegetables “Children’s Mix” by RudTM 200 g
Cherry tomatoes 100 g
Parmesan cheese 100 g
Lemon ½
Garlic 4 cloves
Onion ½
Vegetable frying oil
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

Steps to make it

Step #1

Thoroughly wash the asparagus, break off the rough parts and cut into 2 cm pieces.

Step #2

Add the juice of half a lemon to the salted boiling water and cook the asparagus for one minute.

Step #3

Peel the garlic, chop the onion, saute them in a deep frying pan in the vegetable oil.

Step #4

Put the asparagus in the frying pan and add Rud TM mixed vegetables “Children’s Mix”. Fry the vegetables for another five minutes.

Step #5

Cut the cherry tomatoes in halves and add them to the vegetables. Add salt and pepper to the mixed vegetables and tomatoes to your taste. Fry the mixed vegetables for four minutes.

Step #6

Cook the pasta in salted water. You can use the broth the asparagus was cooked in.

Step #7

Mix the cooked pasta with the vegetables in the pan, stir and stew for another three minutes. If necessary, add a little vegetable broth.

Step #8

Finely grate Parmesan cheese and generously sprinkle it over the ready dish.

Serve hot.
